Error messages

We do our best to create the best possible site for you. However, sometimes errors occassionally might occur. If you have received an error message, and are wondering what it means, and what you might be able to do to avoid it in the future, please refer to the list below of common browser error messages.

Server Error
If you have received a server error we would like to know it as soon as possible. This is most likely due to a modification we are making and normal service will return shortly. It would help us if you could fill out a bug report (coming soon).

404: Not found
We try very hard to ensure the quality of our website but errors might occur. If you have received a 'not found' error, we would like to know it as soon as possible. It would help us if you could fill out a bug report (coming soon).

Transfer interrupted
If you stop a transfer before the page has finished to load, you will receive a 'transfer interrupted' message. You may also receive this message if network traffic is escessive. Please click 'Reload' or try to access the page again. If this doesn't help, try 'Super Reload'. On a PC, hold down "Shift" while clicking "Reload" or "Refresh." On a Mac, hold down "Option" while clicking "Reload."

You may also want to try clearing your "Cache". You could do it in the following ways:

Netscape Navigator 6.x & 7.x (Mac and PC)
1) Select "Preferences" in the Edit menu.
2) Click the "Advanced" tab.
3) Click the "Cache" tab.
4) Clear both "Disk" and "Memory" and increase them to at least 8000 K each.

Netscape Navigator 5.x (Mac and PC)
1) Select "Preferences" in the Edit menu.
2) Click the "Advanced" tab.
3) Click the "Cache" tab.
4) Clear both "Disk" and "Memory" and increase them to at least 8000 K each.

Netscape Navigator 4.x (Mac and PC)
1) Select "Preferences" in the Edit menu.
2) Click the "Advanced" tab.
3) Click the "Cache" tab.
4) Clear both "Disk" and "Memory" and increase them to at least 8000 K each.

Netscape Navigator 3.x (Mac and PC)
1) Select "Net Preferences" in the Options menu.
2) Clear both "Disk" and "Memory" and increase them to at least 8000 K each.

MSIE 3.x (Mac and PC)
1) Select "Options" in the View menu.
2) Click the "Navigation" tab.
3) Clear History.

MSIE 4.x (Mac and PC)
1) Select "Options" in the View menu.
2) Click the "Navigation" tab.
3) Clear History.

MSIE 5.x (PC)
1) Select "Internet Options" in the Tools menu.
2) Click the "General" tab.
3) Under the "Temporary Internet Files" header click "Delete Files."

MSIE 5.x (Mac)
1) Select "Preferences" in the Edit menu.
2) Click the "Advanced" tab.
3) Clear History.

MSIE 6.x (PC)
1) Select "Internet Options" in the Tools menu.
2) Click the "General" tab.
3) Under the "Temporary Internet Files" header click "Delete Files."
